"In 2008 I went to Peru and I made the Inka Trail. It’s the trail maid by Inca’s, and the only way to made this is by walking.
This trail finishes in the “Sun Door”, the entrance of Machu Picchu.
It was 4 days walking 40 km’s, and altitude it was until 5800 m.
We walk all day long, on a road made of rocks, climbing, passing bridges, going up and down stairs, sometimes in places like precipice. The view was amazing.
One of the incredible things is that the entire trail was made by hands, and continued intact until today. During the way we passed at some constructions like houses and worship places. And we started to feel the Inka constructions.
In the night we slept in tents. One night we slept in high altitude and it was frozen. But in the morning the colors of the sun in mountains was wonderful.
During the way sometimes we cross with lamas that live there. Was very funny cross with these different animals. Some of them seem like puppies!
Walking during 4 days, on these conditions of course was hard and sometimes very difficult, but get to the end, entrance by the Sun Door and the first view of Machu Picchu is on great sensations of conquest.
Machu Picchu is impressive, and an incredible constructed made in the middle of mountains. Until now nobody knows excelled how they do it!"
